Due to its non-ionic nature, ROKAnol TSP16 forms compatible systems with other non-ionic auxiliary products and anionic and cationic surfactants. This enables the creation of a wide range of new products with a rich application spectrum. ROKAnol TSP16 is characterised by very good emulsifying and dispersing properties. These properties enable its application mainly in liquid pesticide formulations, such as EC, SC, EW and ME as well as CS, SE and vessel adjuvants.

Furthermore, this product exhibits very good emulsifying properties for organic pigments and biocidal agents. At high electrolyte concentration, the product can be used for alkaline metal cleaning. ROKAnol TPS16 is also efficient in metallurgical processes as wetting agent in compositions with corrosion inhibitors, acidic etching baths and as an emulsifier in emulsion cleaning operations. In addition, it can be used as a wetting agent during metal galvanising.

ROKAnol TSP16 is treated as an alkylphenol and it has lower toxicity than ethoxylated nonylphenols. It constitutes one of the alternatives to this product group, particularly for 8-10 mole nonylphenol ethoxylates.
