Specifications:
Strain clamps are used to fix conductors and ground wires to insulators or link fittings to tower arms and substation structures.
There are two basic systems of strain clamps,
1. Detachable clamps, such as wedge-type tension clamps, thimbles, bolted type tension clamps, which allow for subsequent adjustment.
2. Non-detachable clamps, such as compression dead-end clamps which require absolute matching to the conductor length.
The type of strain clamps are including NLL-1, NLL-2, NLL-3, NLL-4 and so on.
NLL Series Bolt Type Aluminum Alloy Strain Clamp And Insulation Cover
For 20 kV and lower overhead lines, NLL series bolt type aluminum alloy strain clamps are appropriate. They fix aluminum stranded wires or steel core aluminum stranded wires on the strain pole, are used for overhead insulated aluminum conductors and insulating covers, and serve as protective and insulating elements.
Feature
1. Clamp body is made of high strength aluminum alloy
2. Clean appearance, long service life
3. Simple installation, energy efficient
4. The product adopts bolt connection, firm grip, energy-saving accessories, no hysteresis or eddy current
Insulation Cover Performance Features
1. 1-10kV withstand voltage should be ≥18kV, no breakdown after 1 minute of holding voltage.
2. 20kV withstand voltage should be ≥30kV, no breakdown after 1 minute of holding voltage.
3. Insulation resistance is ≥1.0x1014Ω.
4. Ambient temperature is -30℃-+90℃.
5. After an artificial climate aging test lasting 1008 hours, climate resistance is good.

What Is Strain Clamp?
The purpose of the strain clamps is to fasten conductors and ground wires to tower arms and substation structures using insulators or link fittings. Applications involving transmission or distribution lines are the major uses for it. Fixing the conductors to the body requires washers, nuts, and U bolts.
