With a multihead weigher, the product is fed to the distribution cone in the middle above the #weighing system. From there, the product is conveyed radially outwards to the circularly arranged prefeed hoppers, and then into the weigh hoppers below. A computer uses several partial quantities to determine the #combination that comes closest to the target weight and then initiates the simultaneous pouring out. The emptied prefeed and weigh hoppers are then immediately filled again.
