Industrial chiller fault analysis and troubleshooting
In order to analyze and troubleshoot faults faster, we must perform program operations quickly and effectively.
1. Ask the operator for detailed procedures.
1. What kind of malfunction did the water chiller have? What happened during use? When did the malfunction start?
2. How long has the chiller been in operation?
3. Are there any abnormal phenomena before the fault occurs, whether there are alarm signals or other abnormal noises, and whether there are any incorrect operations.
4. Are there any errors in the control system or are caused by other special operations?
2. Check the status of various parameters
1. Check whether the parts are worn, damaged or jammed, and whether the lines are damaged or burned.
2. Check the changes in operating parameters.
3. Check whether the high and low pressure gauges are in normal condition.
4. Is there any water leakage?
5. Is there any oil leakage in the lubricating oil?
3. Carry out fault testing
According to the instruction manual, check the structure of the chiller for fault testing and the fault test method. The fault test must be carried out in compliance with the safety measures in the instruction manual.
4. Troubleshooting or replacement
1. Find out the cause of the fault and check the condition of the components.
2. Correctly replace damaged parts and perform assembly and debugging correctly.
5. Performance test
After assembling all components, start the chiller for performance testing.
6. Data recording and feedback
1. The time when the fault occurred.
2. Failure occurs.
3. Equipment downtime.
4. Repair time.
5. Replace parts.
6. Repair results.
7. Unresolved issues.
8. Fees.
After repairing the fault, the chiller maintenance technician should carefully fill in the content and record it.
