I bought a 4-pack on 11/23 and it lasted almost a year with fairly heavy diving. About a year later I started getting intermittent low battery warnings on a liveabooard, doing 4 dives/day for 4 days in a row. I swapped it then. But took the old battery home. After a week or so of storage the "old" battery it was still testing pretty good.

These are funny devices. They store a lot of energy, but they have high internal resistance so they deliver it slowly. Store unused batteries in the freezer until needed. (warm them back up to room temp before use) They claim a 10 year shelf life, but I'm skeptical. Better to not buy more than you can use in a few years. (I have a 5 year old SAFT cell that was never installed but was stored at room temperature and it shows very high internal resistance now)

That's not a criticism of this mfg or SAFT. It's inherent to this type of battery chemistry.
