Lifan Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Lifan Group) was founded in 1992, located in the picturesque mountain city of Chongqing, China. Lifan Engine

Lifan is a subcontractor of Honda, manufacturing motors for Honda as well as producing their own motors under the Lifan brand, with various displacements. The motors themselves are of commendable quality and can be easily fitted into a Honda 70cc and down frame. For a 90cc and up frame, an adaptor is required for the bottom bolt. I personally installed one in a 1960s Honda C110 50cc. To give you an idea of the size, it's comparable to a Garelli Super Sport, smaller than a Magnum, but with larger brakes. Despite its small size, it's still incredibly fast and unstable with a 125cc motor; the front end tends to lift in both first and second gear.
