Brakes work well enough on our van, but at 8K lbs with 33" tires, it takes a lot of pedal effort to get it slowed on a mountain descent. Porsche brakes have always been popular upgrades for VW/Audi due to good pad design and tons of clamping power from 6-pot calipers. MB has had plenty of experience with high performance brakes that I would think it's as simple as someone making an adapter, and figuring out what rotor size could be fit under a 16" wheel. I'd want to keep the brake bias the same, so upgrades to rotor size front and rear. I think someone out west has an AP Racing upgrade, but they're slotted rotors and only up front. I like OEM, especially with brakes, so would prefer to stay MB if possible.
Anyone heard of someone doing this?
